How We Rate Operators

Our scoring gives the most weight to how clearly an operator's licensing can be checked against the public register the regulator maintains. A licence only matters if a reader can confirm it for themselves, so operators whose status is easy to verify are treated differently from those where it is not. We also weigh how plainly bonus terms are stated and how consistent an operator's own claims are with what it actually shows customers. None of this measures whether gambling is safe or wise for any individual; it measures how transparent and checkable an operator's claims are. Where something cannot be verified, that gap counts against the score rather than being assumed in the operator's favour.
